Wiesmann
Wiesmann cars are low-volume German sports cars built around distinctive styling, lightweight construction, and powerful BMW-sourced engines. Founded in 1988, the company produced hand-assembled roadsters and coupes such as the MF3, MF4, and V8-powered MF5 at its gecko-shaped factory in Dülmen, Germany. Their long hoods, compact cabins, and rounded bodywork draw from classic British sports cars, while the chassis and drivetrains deliver a more modern driving experience. Wiesmann vehicles were created for enthusiasts who value direct handling, rear-wheel drive, and extensive customization over everyday practicality. The company’s newer Project Thunderball continues that philosophy as a rear-wheel-drive electric roadster with an 800-volt architecture and a targeted range of 500 kilometers.
