Tatra

Tatra is a Czech vehicle brand with roots dating to 1850, making it one of the world’s oldest automotive manufacturers. Its historic passenger cars stood apart through unconventional engineering, including streamlined bodywork, rear-mounted air-cooled engines, and distinctive models such as the T87, 603, and 613. Passenger-car production eventually ended, but Tatra continues to manufacture heavy-duty trucks in Kopřivnice. Current ranges include the Phoenix, Force, Force e-Drive, and 810 M, developed for commercial transport, construction, firefighting, defense, and other demanding work. A specialized chassis concept and strong off-road ability remain central to the brand’s identity, linking today’s trucks with Tatra’s long tradition of independent engineering.
