The SsangYong car brand is a South Korean automaker with a long-standing focus on SUVs, pickup trucks, and four-wheel-drive vehicles. Its best-recognized models include the Korando, Musso, Rexton, Tivoli, and Torres, ranging from compact crossovers to body-on-frame utility vehicles. SsangYong often emphasized durable construction, practical interiors, competitive pricing, and diesel-powered capability, making its vehicles popular with families, rural drivers, and buyers needing towing or off-road versatility. After being acquired by KG Group, SsangYong Motor changed its corporate name to KG Mobility in March 2023, and many international markets now use the KGM brand.
