Iso

The Iso car brand was an Italian manufacturer that combined elegant grand-touring design with powerful American engines. Founded by Renzo Rivolta, the company first produced motorcycles and the compact Isetta before moving into high-performance cars during the 1960s. Models such as the Iso Rivolta GT, Grifo, Fidia, and Lele used sophisticated Italian styling with Chevrolet or Ford V8 power, creating fast and comfortable alternatives to contemporary Ferraris and Maseratis. Original car production ended in 1974 following financial pressure and changing market conditions. The name later returned through the limited-production Iso Rivolta GTZ, developed with Zagato as a modern tribute to the marque’s classic formula of Italian design and American performance.
