Isdera
Isdera is a German specialty car brand recognized for hand-built supercars, dramatic styling, and extremely limited production. Founded by designer and former Porsche engineer Eberhard Schulz in 1982, the company developed bespoke vehicles such as the Spyder, Imperator 108i, and Commendatore 112i. Many Isdera cars used Mercedes-Benz engines, tubular chassis construction, gullwing doors, and aerodynamic bodywork shaped by racing influences. The V8-powered Imperator evolved from the Mercedes-Benz CW311 concept, while the V12 Commendatore became one of the most distinctive supercars of the 1990s. Isdera primarily served collectors seeking rare, individually specified performance cars outside the established exotic-car market.
